Refund Policy

We are so confident that you will enjoy making and eating your bakeit freefrom product that we offer a no quibble refund of the full cost of your kit, or a replacement kit of your choice if you are unhappy with it for any reason. However, this is apart from any issues that may have arisen with Royal Mail deliveries, which are outside our control and would need to be taken up directly with them.

We do not require you to return anything, please just get in touch with us at sales@bakeitfreefrom.com and let us know why you are unhappy (we will send you a quick survey form to help) and we will either refund your payment in full or send you a replacement kit, including free postage, as you prefer.

Our customer’s satisfaction is very important to us and it is also vital to us to have an excellent reputation so we will do all we can to ensure your bakeit freefrom experience is a positive and pleasant one.

NB: bakeit freefrom reserve the right to refuse sales.

Allergen Free Policy

In accordance to the FSA (Food Standards Agency) guidelines on allergen management, bakeit freefrom recognise the following as allergens and do not use any of these in our products:

  1. Celery
  2. Crustaceans
  3. Eggs
  4. Fish
  5. Gluten
  6. Milk
  7. Mustard
  8. Nuts
  9. Peanuts
  10. Sesame
  11. Soybeans
  12. Sulphur dioxide
  13. Lupin
  14. Molluscs.

Only 2 of the 14 allergens have a legal minimum limit, gluten at less than 20PPM (parts per million) and sulphur dioxide/sulphates less than 10mg per kilogramme or litre.  Commission Regulations (EC) No. 41/2009 has more information about this.

At bakeit freefrom we only use gluten free flours as supplied by Doves Farm which complies with the legal limit. We also ensure that the white wine vinegar and the dried fruits we use do not have sulphites/sulphur dioxide used as a preservative.

The remaining food allergens have no defined maximum limits and no other listed food allergens are used in the production of our products. We at bakeit freefrom always endeavour to responsibly source ingredients from reputable suppliers and we also aim to avoid introducing new food allergens to our premises.

The bakeit freefrom premises have a ‘peanut / groundnut’ free status whereby no peanuts or peanut products, such as peanut butter, oil or confectionery / biscuits are brought into our premises. This is to reduce the minimal chance of cross contamination with our bakeit freefrom kits and so avoid the risk of anaphylaxis to our customers as much as we possibly can.

bakeit freefrom take every effort to ensure our products are completely free of all food allergens as discussed above. However we cannot take responsibility or make any guarantees for our suppliers systems, and people who have a severe food allergy should consider this before placing an order for one of our home baking kits.

The FSA guidelines also express “warning labels should only be used where there is demonstrable & significant risk of allergen cross contamination…“. As bakeit freefrom products use no listed food allergens we do not provide any warning labels on them.
